How do I choose the ideal wedding dress?

If this is not the first thought, what will be? Follow the golden and infallible rule that states that the ideal wedding dress is the one that makes you feel beautiful and comfortable. We know that you want to be… grande(!) but the main thing is to be YOU. Try on different styles and choose the one that is closest to your personality. Of course, the location of the wedding also plays a major role and is one of the things you should definitely also think about. For example, you wouldn’t want to be on the rocks or at the beach in a very long wedding dress, believe us!

How early should I start planning my wedding?

Ideally, you should start 12-18 months prior to the wedding. The wedding preparations can definitely done in a shortest amount of time, but this period is reasonable so that everything can be done without stress.

How do I manage stress before the wedding?

Regular breaks, sharing responsibilities, relaxation exercises such as yoga and meditation and of course, psychological support from family and friends are the solution for the pre-wedding madness. Unless of course you are a member of Your Wedding Mate, in which case you don’t even have to worry about a thing!

What should I pay attention to when choosing the wedding menu?

In all cases, any food allergies of your guests should be taken into account. Make sure that the menu fits the style of the wedding (this is also important) and try to choose dishes that you can be almost sure will satisfy most of your guests.

How do I choose the ideal location for the reception?

The location should reflect the style and theme of the wedding. It should also be easily accessible to guests and not to be miles away from the church. You don’t want lost or upset guests.

How important is the photographer?

Well, the photographer is even more important than the groom is. He will capture the memories of the whole day, which doesn’t happen every day, for a lifetime! Get recommendations, read reviews, watch footage. It is very important that his artistic identity match what you have imagined.

Do I need to have all the little things planned?

Certainly, a detailed plan of the day needed and helps always. The unpredictable factors though, is always a thing and there is the possibility of something going wrong. Two things to remember: Everything can be faced with humor and the most important thing is to enjoy your day. No matter what!

How to choose the wedding flowers?

Choose seasonal flowers (they ‘re often cheaper) that suit the style of your wedding (you don't want mint and basil in a boho wedding or pampas in an island wedding - usually) and above all, choose flowers that are not too sensitive, especially if you are getting married in the summer.

How will I make sure everyone has a good time?

We can understand how important is for you to keep your guests happy as a hostess but in no case this should be an overwhelming anxiety for you. It is even more important to remember that this day is primarily dedicated to you and to your husband. You did everything you could in order to plan everything and that alone should be enough for your loved ones and of course highly appreciated.

Are you less stressed, now?
